Mercedes Sill trim peices 3D MODEL

£6.50

What’s its use?

Designed to replace the trims that commonly fail or perish due to time on the lower door portion of Mercedes Benz models, this model is designed for the chassis number W124, but will be applicable on other models as well, please make sure it fits yours before purchase, any questions feel free to message me or send an email!

This model includes 8 types of trim variations, one that includes a space for a metal trim made out out of sheet metal or material of preference, models without this feature (just the blank versions). The models also come with the option to be split into multiple pieces for 3D printing on a regular 256×256×256mm 3D printer, but also include full models that have NOT been split as well! With a 256×256×256mm printer, pieces will have to be assembled, i find a soldering iron and some filler/glue works best for me! I have videos on how i assembled mine.

Ideas

The design is in STEP format so is easily editable to add whatever designs you want! The files i find are very good to have, especially for trying out what different materials would look like, composites can also be used on top, such as carbon fiber composites. The file could also be used on CNC mill using wood as the material to give that proper classic “benz” premium look.
